JUSTINE SACCO TWITTER DELETED AFTER ‘HOPE I DON’T GET AIDS’ TWEET

Twitter is sometimes can cause flooding of critcism and reaction from the world. Justine Sacco is also one of them who is facing a huge disaster of criticism on social network website including Twitter as she wrote on her Twitter wall about aids in Africa when was on her way to Africa from London on Friday December 20, 2013.

Justine Sacco, the communications director for the media conglomerate IAC, which handles brands like OKCupid and Tinder, wrote on her Twitter account, “Going to Africa. Hope I don’t get Aids. Just kidding. I’m white!

There are millions of web users who are now reacting on this offensive joke. Some of the Twitter users called it “worst tweet of the year” as many best and words things are being announced at the end of the year.

IAC, owned by Barry Diller, said in a statement and slammed their employee’s behavior as ‘outrageous’, “This is an outrageous, offensive comment that does not reflect the views and values of IAC. Unfortunately, the employee in question is unreachable on an international flight, but this is a very serious matter and we are taking appropriate action.”

IAC is the parent company of Match.com, The Daily Beast, Dictionary.com and BlackPeopleMeet.com, a dating site for African-Americans. Sacco, who had previously worked in the PR department for WWE Corp, has not yet issued an apology or explanation.
